Crafted by acclaimed California custom lure maker Brett Crane—the artisan behind some of the finest modern marlin lures to date—the Crane lures Trooper is a straight-running powerhouse built to cause serious commotion in the spread. Weighing 5.35 oz and measuring 3 5/8 inches in total length with a 2.5-inch exposed polished head, this medium plunger style features a taper toward the nose and a flat back toward the saddles, throwing an incredible amount of splash while maintaining a flawless, steady track. While it is a premier marlin weapon that also drives mahi and other pelagics wild, it is truly one of a kind for Caribbean waters. Whether you are trolling the North Drop, the Puerto Rican Trench, or the Mona Trench, the Trooper delivers the explosive action and fish-raising power needed for a successful day on the water.
