Inspired by a Legend. Born in Puerto Rico. Proven on Giants.
Introducing Borinquen Ghost, an exclusive Blue Marlin lure skirt combination developed and tested by Simply Caught Charters in the waters of Puerto Rico. Inspired by the legendary Evil color combination made famous by Hawaiian lure-making pioneer Joe Yee, Borinquen Ghost takes one of the most recognized and successful color patterns in big-game fishing and gives it a distinctive Caribbean twist.
Combining Blue Ocean Manufacturing (BOM) #330 as the outer skirt with BOM #188 as the inner skirt, this striking combination blends deep ocean blues, emerald greens, vibrant yellow accents, and brilliant holographic flash to create exceptional contrast and movement underwater.
Borinquen Ghost has already produced an impressive number of Blue Marlin bites and helped close the deal on some true giants. Its versatility makes it an outstanding choice for nearly any compatible marlin lure head, including plungers, slants, and other proven offshore designs.
Quickly making a name for itself in the Caribbean marlin fishery, Borinquen Ghost is a Simply Caught original with worldwide potential. Built on the heritage of Joe Yee's legendary Evil combination and refined through real-world fishing experience in Puerto Rico, this signature color deserves a place in serious marlin trolling spreads from the Caribbean to Hawaii, Australia, and beyond.
Caribbean Tested. Giant Marlin Proven. Ready for Your Spread.
